Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Production Management Industrial Engineering Business Administration or related field. Equivalent work experience is a plus.
- Experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position within the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Indepth knowledge of production processes quality control and safety standards specific to furniture manufacturing.
Responsabilities:
- Production Oversight: Manage and oversee daily operations across all production areas such as woodmill fabric cutting foam cutting filling sewing and upholstery.
- Volume Output: Develop and implement production schedules to meet volume output requirements ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure all products meet the company’s quality specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the production team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement changes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively including personnel machinery and materials to optimize production efficiency.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise in the production process implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Reporting: Monitor and report on production metrics including output quality and safety performance.
- Production Strategy: Implement and develop strategies through accurate planning and forecast to ensure correct capacity to meet company goals.
