THE COMPANY
Our client is an international Chartered Accounting (CA) awardwinning firm specialising in providing diversified clientfocused services.
Due to increased business their Brisbane office has a vacancy for a Senior Accountant in their Business Services division.
Working directly with the Partners and a team of senior accounting professionals you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of interesting clients including listed companies and a variety of private companies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with a broad spectrum of local national and international clients
- Uphold exceptional standards expected from a top 100 accounting firm
- Oversee and manage an independent client portfolio
- Craft financial statements and income tax returns for individuals partnerships companies trusts and SMSFs
- Compiles FBT returns
- Generate a Business Activity Statements (BASs) and Instalment Activity Statements (IASs)
- Lead a team of accountants
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Hold a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or Bachelor of Business (BBus) degree with a specialisation in accounting
- Demonstrate an extensive background with over 3 years handson experience in business services within an accounting firm
- Hold or be in the final stages of completing the Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills facilitating the establishment of enduring client relationships
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a larger engagement team
