A Business Development Reprezentativeis responsible for identifying new business opportunities reaching out to potential clients and generating qualified leads for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Selling the companys maritime road rail and air transportation services by actively generating sales from both existing and potential clients through customized transport solutions.
- Procuring transport services by negotiating and acquiring the best offers from subcontracted and new transport providers while respecting cost time and quality standards.
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure loyalty and handle any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Monitoring transport contracts and orders by overseeing the entire contractual process from negotiation to completion ensuring full compliance with company standards.
- Continuously attracting new clients and maintaining strong relationships with those in the current portfolio.
- Achieving monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Developing and proposing strategies for continuous growth in sales volume.
- Analyzing market competition and identifying optimization solutions for sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Completed higher education (university degree);
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales role preferably in the freight transport sector;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Strong observation and analytical abilities with the capacity to make quick decisions even in crisis situations;
- Wellorganized able to efficiently manage collaborations with partners and clients;
- Energetic personality positive mindset courteous and resultsoriented;
- Availability for a fulltime schedule 8 hours/day);
- Intermediate level of English;
- Advanced computer skills (Windows Microsoft Word & Excel Internet);
- Valid category B driving license.
