Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights to support executive decisionmaking.
- Lead financial planning budgeting and forecasting processes.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g. IFRS GAAP).
- Prepare financial statements management reports and variance analyses.
- Oversee tax planning audits and regulatory filings to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Cost Management & Operational Finance
- Monitor refinery operating costs capital expenditures (CAPEX) and working capital.
- Identify costsaving initiatives and process improvements.
- Manage financial risks ensuring proper controls and compliance with corporate policies.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Work closely with external auditors regulatory bodies and financial institutions.
- Provide financial guidance to department heads on budgeting and cost control.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a highperformance culture.
- Ensure continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA ACCA CIMA preferred).
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in the Oil & Gas Petrochemical or Refinery industry is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in financial planning risk management and cost control.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of IFRS GAAP and Malaysian financial regulations.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Language Skills
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to liaise with regional stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
