Regional Support Engineer NY/NJ Remote

The Job:

As a Regional Support Engineer youll be part of our Field Technical Services team as a remote employee. Youll get to:

  • Provide support to local sales teams and the US Field Engineering Team. This involves collaboration with these internal teams along with project engineers jobsite inspectors contractors and distributors during the bidding submittal and construction phases of a project.

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of specified fastening products (under the DEWALT and Elco brands) how they are used in construction and how they are designed in accordance with current building codes.

  • Provide support and territory coverage to Field Engineers as needed.

  • Create engineering product submittals for field personnel to facilitate the sale of DEWALT Specified products.

  • Conduct regular DAAI (DEWALT Adhesive Anchoring Installation) certification courses for local end users.

  • Conduct anchor testing on jobsites in local market and create accurate and thorough reports

  • Regularly analyze jobsite data and upcoming construction projects to provide leads to local sales teams and the Field Engineering team.

  • Develop and maintain client records in CRM (customer relationship management) tool.

  • Read and assess blueprints construction specifications and documents.

The Person:

  • Associates degree or equivalent with technical component required.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in construction industry material testing experience is a plus.

  • Construction Jobsite experience required concrete design or construction experience preferred.

  • Physical ability to work on construction jobsites lift and carry up to 60 pounds climb stairs ladders and scaffolding and work at heights required during all seasons of the year.

  • Travel Expectations: Up to 25 of time traveling within New York/New Jersey territory 10 overnight travel.

The base pay range for this position in New York is $85000.00 $93000.00 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. A signon payment may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
