We are hiring for a Field Service Technician on a PartTime Basis (up to 35 hours/month) to provide routine technical maintenance and service in retail locations within 100 miles of DMA within the Los Angeles CA. area Flexible hours.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintain troubleshoot and replace software/hardware as needed in all assigned locations. Provide detailed account of visits to PRN/STRATACACHE HD.
- Maintain detailed records of each site visit generate daily/weekly reports
- Assume responsibility for prioritizing and completing all work following established policies and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationship with site management and associates to leverage problem resolution and compliance support
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or college degree preferred.
- 12 years relevant experience.
- Must have experience working with consumer electronics and computers and possess software system aptitude and networking knowledge. Prior POS troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Enthusiastic selfstarter with excellent communication skills; reliability and accuracy are essential. Must be motivated to work with minimal supervision
- Must demonstrate excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills as well as superb organizational and time management skills
- Ability to climb 6 ladder lift 30lbs and ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with store management help desk agents and PRN management
