You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Senior Financial Analyst FP&A will be responsible for supporting the Director FP&A in financial planning business case analysis and reporting activities. This role involves developing and managing financial models analyzing and collecting financial data and key performance indicators (KPI) Information preparing forecasts and providing insights to support strategic decisionmaking. The position requires a strong analytical mindset financial modelling skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting forecasting and longterm planning.
Analyze financial performance identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Prepare files for government agencies to collect subsidies ensuring meticulous attention to detail and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports including variance analysis and KPIs.
Collaborate with business units to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Support the annual budgeting process including the preparation of budget templates and consolidation of departmental budgets.
Conduct adhoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic projects.
Assist in the preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
Monitor and report on financial risks and opportunities providing recommendations for mitigation or capitalizing on opportunities.
Ensure compliance with financial policies procedures and internal controls.
Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in creating data room Excel files related to spectrum assets for various counterparties.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and financial reporting tools.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and financial planning software (e.g. Workday Adaptive Planning).
Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Understanding of fibre and fixed wireless infrastructure is considered a strong asset.
35 years in a financial analysis role preferably within a corporate FP&A function or Big 4.
Experience in the telecommunications infrastructure or technology sector is a plus.
