Job Description
Description
- Inspect operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage defects or wear.
- Test mechanical to ensure proper functioning.
- Dismantle machines equipment or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools or power tools.
- Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair. Operate hoists or other moving or lifting equipment.
- Well versed with routine maintenance such as inspecting drives motors or belts checking fluid levels replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance.
- Inspect mechanical components to identify problems.
- Replace worn damaged or defective mechanical parts.
- Well versed with troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and repair as needed.
- Familiarity with chains sprockets augers and conveyors
- Well versed with welding (TIG MIG stick)
- Understanding and proper of routine preventive maintenance work orders
- Well versed with basic plumbing and pipe work (pipe running pipe fitting pipe threading running water & steam lines etc)
