The company
Our customer is a Fintech company that operates all over the world and is one of the leading providers of online payment solutions.

They will hire the selected candidate as an internal and permanent employee based in Madrid but providing services to their global organization.

Description of the position
Were looking for a Software Development Team Leader who is a techenthusiast with a drive for excellence and an outofthebox mindset to satisfy business needs in a complex payment solution environment to join our Team in Madrid.

Key Responsibilities and tasks

  • Collaborate closely with Product Design/UX DevOps and other R&D teams.
  • Lead an autonomous team of software engineers who are working closely with product management for achieving business goals.
  • Put special focus on developing the team.
  • Provide technical authority to your team by demonstrating a handson leadership style.
  • Be responsible for the overall design development architecture code quality and production environment deployment of your team.

Working Experience
  • 3 years of managerial experience a must!
  • 5 years of experience as a server side developer all the way from DB to UI (using C# a must! REST APIs and asynchronous communication with Queues/Streams).
  • 3 years of experience with advanced SQL (MSSQL/Oracle/MySql/PostgreSQL etc..

Professional skills
  • Broad knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
  • Team player attitude and mentality.
  • Experienced and passionate about managing and growing people.
  • Experience in engineering best practices (codereviews testing coverage agile methodologies).
  • Ambitious and eager to learn new things.


Not a must but a great advantage
  • Experience with frontend technologies like Angular React.
  • Experience with messaging queues or streams such as RabbitMQ/SQS/Kafka.
  • Experience with Redis or alike.
  • Experience with ORM such as Entity Framework.
  • Experience with Microservices.
  • Experience in building SaaS platforms in a cloudbased environment.

Education and Training
  • B.S. in computer science or equivalent.


Languages
  • English:Very good Business English required (excellent communication skills). B2/C1 level.
  • Spanish:Would be valuable for the position but not required.

Job Conditions
Job location:Madrid. European Union nationality otherwise EU/Spain work permit required as a prerequisite.

Expected travel
Very limited just a few days trip per year only during the weekdays to the global IT headquarters for onboarding teaming and alignment.

Employment Type
Permanent Full Time as an internal employee.

Salary
Depending on qualification and experience.
