Are you a customer-focused professional seeking a rewarding opportunity in the dynamic world of advertising Our company is currently in search of a motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development Specialist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Proactively research and engage with potential clients to generate leads and expand the agencys client base.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects partners and stakeholders to create long-term business opportunities.
- Pitch Marketing Solutions: Confidently present and tailor the agencys service offerings (branding digital marketing content social media etc.) to align with client needs.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with creative strategy and account teams to develop compelling proposals presentations and pitch materials.
- Manage Sales Pipeline: Maintain accurate records of leads opportunities and activities using CRM tools; track performance against targets.
- Attend Networking Events & Industry Functions: Represent the agency at events to promote services stay informed on trends and gather market intelligence.
- Prepare Proposals and RFP Responses: Coordinate the development of customized proposals and respond to RFPs with clarity and attention to client goals.
- Contribute to Revenue Growth: Support the agency in meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Conduct Market Research: Monitor industry trends competitor activities and market demands to inform business development strategy.
- Follow Up & Close Deals: Maintain consistent communication with leads handle objections and negotiate terms to close new business.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in business development within a marketing advertising or creative agency (minimum 23 years required).
- Strong understanding of agency service offerings such as digital marketing branding content creation SEO paid media and social strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to generate qualify and close new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience building and managing a sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot Salesforce Pipedrive).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to tailor pitches and proposals to various client industries and business sizes.
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Familiarity with agency operations timelines and how cross-functional teams (creative accounts strategy) work together.
- Comfortable representing the agency at industry events conferences and networking functions.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field (preferred).
