What Youll Do
- Strategic Medical Leadership: Shape and execute regional Medical Affairs plans working closely with crossfunctional teams to support commercial launches oversee clinical & regulatory updates and coordinate KOL engagement in main European markets.
- KOL & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with rare disease experts ensuring knowledge exchange and relationship building for product utilization and future indications.
- Market Expansion & Travel: Allocate about 30 travel to attend major conferences and collaborate with local teamscritical for strengthening the products footprint in key European markets.
- Team & Process Building: Work alongside an existing neurology team managing daytoday Medical Affairs responsibilities and supporting the newly created positions role in streamlining operations.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Embrace the mindset of a large parent organization while spearheading a growing specialty division demonstrating agility and patience amid shifting corporate priorities.
What Were Looking For
- Medical Affairs Expertise: Significant experience in Medical Affairs (regional or local) ideally within pharmaceutical or biotech environments. Direct neurology experience is not mandatory; backgrounds in oncology hematology or other specialized fields are welcome.
- Rare Disease Passion: Keen interest in rare diseases and clinical innovation.
- Collaborative Mindset: Skilled at crossfunctional teamwork from commercial and marketing to regulatory and R&D.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel 30 across Europe to attend conferences local market visits and strategic meetings.
- Language & Soft Skills: Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential; additional European languages a plus. Strong communication stakeholder management and organizational capabilities are a must.
