Job Description

As an engineer on the Intelligent Mobility Systems team you will join a diverse team that implements technologies to improve the efficiency safety and sustainability of transportation networks. Youll be working at the intersection of several fields related to passenger and freight transportation systems.Youll contribute to a number of multidisciplinary projects such as electrification intelligent mobility public transit and the development of technological solutions.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Support market studies for intelligent transportation systems
  • Carry out feasibility studies on different technological approaches taking into account technology capabilities past ITS deployment experience costs and standards and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the drafting of tender documents analyze bids and prepare decision summaries for the awarding of contracts by authorities
  • Contribute to the production of reports and support the team during business and project meetings: prepare technical reports and presentations take notes and produce technical reports
  • Participate in field surveys supervise electrical and/or telecommunications work
  • Participate in research and development: engage in research to find new solutions or improvements in the field of ITS

 


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering computer engineering industrial engineering software engineering or equivalent
  • Member of the Ordre des Ingnieurs du Qubec or in the process of becoming a member
  • Between 3 and 5 years relevant experience in the field  
  • Excellent writing skills in French
  • Bilingual (English/French): bilingualism is an essential requirement for this engineering position as it enables effective collaboration with our various stakeholders including customers suppliers and regulatory agencies across the country
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Team spirit autonomy rigor and concern for work quality
  • Highly developed organizational skills project management and followup skills
  • High emotional and relational intelligence
