Job Description
HVAC Engineer Technical support for Sales
About the job
The candidate should have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and
technical support for sales team. Able to apply their knowledge to create
innovative and efficient solutions in terms of Site visit AC positioning Area
coverage Load calculation Tonnage selection etc. for different upcoming
projects and proposals.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and
their applications. (Split Cassette Window VRV/VRF Ductable Chiller
AC.
Analysis and solution of Technical Queries of sites and meeting with
customer on site.
Ability to perform load calculations to determine system sizing and
equipment selection.
Ability to interpret P&IDs D&IDs and airflow diagrams.
Handson experience in HVAC design software tools like HAP/Elite duct
sizer pipe sizer etc
Perform site visit along with sales team and support to convert the lead
in to the sale.
Own vehicle will be an added advantage.
Equipment Selection: Select appropriate HVAC equipment
components and controls based on project requirements customer
budget constraints and energy efficiency goals.
Preparation of BOQ / MR: Prepare Bill of quantities or Material
requirement of site (No of units pipe size & quantity etc. prepare MR
for Supply Chain Management team to initiate arrangement and
preparation as per site.
Drawing Preparation/Review: Create/review detailed HVAC system
drawings including schematics layouts and ensure compliance with
project specifications.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with other department engineers
contractors and fabrication yard during construction to ensure smooth
project .
Energy Efficiency: Implement strategies to optimize energy efficiency
and reduce operating costs for HVAC systems.
Education Requirements
B.E or Diploma in RAC / HVAC / Mechanical engineering.
