Job Description

Job Description Summary
AB Tech is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable person experienced as an electrician to teach adults in the Electrical Apprenticeship program. The program trains adults through five levels of curriculum in preparation for becoming a licensed electrician.

Duties
During engaging lectures and handson skill labs the instructor will provide the training necessary for the students to meet predefined learning objectives. During each course instructors submit all materials for review and approval in addition to maintaining an accurate student roster attendance sheet and other required records.

Minimum Requirements
1. Licensed North Carolina Electrician City of Asheville Electrical Journeyman or IBEW Electrical Journeyman Wireman Certification. 2. Valid Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications
1. One or more years teaching experience 2. Previous experience teaching adults in a community college setting.
