Job Description
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on CNC machines (VMC HMC Turning Milling etc.) and related electrical panels and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in CNC machines including problems with drives motors encoders PLCs HMIs and control wiring.
- Calibrate and verify CNC machine electrical components to ensure precise operations.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics machine wiring diagrams and control layouts.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new CNC equipment.
- Maintain logs and records of all electrical maintenance activities and repairs.
- Monitor and ensure proper functioning of power supply backup systems (UPS) and servo/spindle drives.
- Support upgrades or retrofitting of CNC machines with new electrical components.
- Adhere to safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures while working on electrical systems.
Coordinate with machine operators and production teams for scheduling downtime and maintenance
Key Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret machine specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS or digital maintenance tracking tools
