Job Description
Position Summary
This position directs provides leadership and oversees all coaching duties for the Football Program. Directs and coordinates all aspects of recruitment and training for athletics competition and oversees the planning of the program activities.
Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall success performance and conduct of NMHUs NCAA Division II Football program in the areas of academics athletics and student athlete conduct; Supervise plan and coordinate the activities of the football program; Manages supplies and equipment allocated to the Football program; Advises and counsels student athletes regarding academic programs to ensure adequate progress towards a degree; Oversees student athlete conduct and discipline; Works closely with the Sports Information Director in regards to news releases and related media guides; Hire manage and evaluate the assistant coaching staff; Recruit student athletes in accordance with NCAA RMAC and NMHU rules and regulations; Promote and represent the Football program the Athletics Department and New Mexico Highlands University through marketing and public relations activities; Develop coordinate and execute fundraising activities; Manage all aspects of the financial operation of the football program; Maintains regular attendance; Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or Associate Athletic Director.

Preferred Qualifications
Education: Masters degree in any field Experience: 3 years of successful collegiate Head Coaching
