About the Role:
As a General Accountant you will be the right hand to support your Accountant Manager in their daily tasks collaborating with various departments. You will contribute significantly to ensuring compliance with Vietnamese laws and managing accounting financial and tax processes for the company.
Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Accounting Entries
- Ensure the accuracy of financial data including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and issue financial invoices and handle monthly quarterly and annual financial reports including tax reports and tax finalization.
- Record and manage all expenses income depreciation VAT PIT contractor taxes and other taxrelated entries.
2. Payroll & Compliance Management
- Calculate salaries and ensure proper deductions and payment procedures.
- Manage social insurance procedures and labor contracts ensuring compliance with Vietnamese labor and social insurance laws.
- Ensure adherence to the company s welfare policies.
3. Tax & Regulatory Compliance
- Handle tax reporting tax finalization and ensure that the company meets all local legal obligations regarding tax payments and filings.
- Work closely with external auditors tax authorities parent company and other regulatory bodies when required.
Requirements
- Have a Chief Accountant certificate.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting and finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a service or manufacturing company (IT or service accounting sector is a plus).
- Have experience working in an FDI company
- Experience with insurance procedures is a plus.
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
- Working English proficiency (reading writing basic communication).
- Strong attention to detail honesty and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Working hours
- Working Monday Friday.
- Flexible working policy at the office & online working at home.
