Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to oversee our receivables function and ensure efficient cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have extensive accounting experience advanced Excel skills and proven leadership in managing AR processes. A CPA certification is required for this role.
- Oversee the endtoend accounts receivable process ensuring timely invoicing collections and cash application.
- Manage and mentor the AR team to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company policies.
- Develop and implement AR policies procedures and controls to improve efficiency and minimize overdue accounts.
- Monitor customer accounts track payment status and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Perform credit assessments and establish appropriate credit limits for new and existing customers.
- Prepare and analyze AR aging reports highlighting risks and recommending corrective actions.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to generate reports analyze trends and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure accurate recording of customer transactions and maintain proper documentation.
- Collaborate with sales finance and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.
- Assist with audits by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries related to AR.
Requirements
- Must be a CPA
- 710 years of accounting experience with 35 years in a managerial role overseeing accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of AR processes accounting principles and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills including functions such as VLOOKUP Pivot Tables and complex formulas.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage train and motivate a team.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in retail manufacturing or similar industries is highly preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong understanding of AR processes, accounting principles, and internal controls. Advanced Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
