Job Description
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Previous experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar monitoring environment.
Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) firewalls and endpoint security tools.
Understanding of log analysis and threat intelligence techniques.
Familiarity on JIRA ticketing systems.
Willing to work on a shifting schedule.
Willing to work onsite.
Job Description:
Responsible for monitoring analyzing and prioritizing system alerts to identify potential threats or operational issues.
investigate document and escalate of alerts to ensure timely incident response and risk mitigation.
Continuously monitor system alerts from various sources.
Perform initial triage and validation of alerts to rule our false positives.
Incident ticket handling and updating on the ticketing tool.
