We are seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to provide leadership mentorship and coaching for Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within our portfolio. The RTE will play a critical role in ensuring best practices are followed managing risks and aligning ART activities with the organizations strategic objectives. This position requires strong expertise in Agile methodologies stakeholder communication and program management.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and coach Agile teams (ARTs) to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage ART budgets mitigate risks and address productivityrelated challenges.
- Ensure adherence to ART best practices and track efficiency metrics.
- Conduct weekly portfoliowide status calls to track progress and resolve roadblocks.
- Serve as a liaison between development and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination.
- Align ART activities with organizational strategic goals.
- Maintain and manage calendars for program increments (PIs).
- Plan implement and monitor PI planning events to drive Agile .
- Oversee the development and implementation of new programs and features.
- Manage Release and Change Management processes to ensure smooth deployments.
- Prepare status reports for leadership teams providing insights into ART performance.
- Be wellversed in JIRA and assist Agile teams in setting up and customizing Agile boards.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination across teams and stakeholders.
Experience:
- Strong experience in Agile methodologies (SAFe Scrum Kanban) and Agile transformation.
- Proven track record of leading multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) successfully.
- Experience in budget management risk mitigation and process optimization.
- Proficiency in JIRA Confluence and Agile reporting tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving abilities.
- Experience with PI Planning Release & Change Management and Agile Coaching.
Skillsets:
- SAFe RTE Certification or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).
- Experience in largescale Agile transformations.
- Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Agile tools.
Education:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
