Manage all SLA and ad hoc requirements and tickets within the agreed timeframes
Performing 1st and 2nd tier technical support function while managing senior end user communications and relationships
Identify possible client leads and escalate to Manager as needed.
Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers printers etc..
Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimise stability and performance.
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts debugging etc.
Create and maintain documentation on IT manuals and procedures.
Perform installations of all data network and CCTV systems.
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
Define hardware and network requirements.
Perform monthly inventory stock takes.
Collect and manage stock with monthly stock takes.
Install wellfunctioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components.
Offer timely technical support.
Liaison with suppliers and clients.
Travel to client sites.
Grade 12
Degree in Computer Science engineering or relevant field
Certification will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
Proven experience as IT Support Technician or relevant position.
Windows Server and AD experience.
In depth knowledge of Office 365 (Exchange SharePoint etc).
Networking (Planning Implementing Configuring and Troubleshooting).
NAS and Backups.
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems networks and CCTV systems.
Valid drivers license
Education
Grade 12 Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field Certification will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
Full Time
