Contract: Permanent / Fixed Term

Hours: Full time/Part Time

Were on the lookout forpractical detail-oriented individualsto join our dynamic team inCambridgeas aSenior Technicianin our cutting-edgeEnvironmental Laboratories. These labs are at the forefront of materials testing in challenging environmentsincludinghydrogen sulphide hydrogen and other aggressive conditions. Your contributions will directly support innovative projects that push the boundaries of engineering and sustainability.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Collaborating withProject Engineers and fellow techniciansto deliver bespoke materials testing.
  • Working withchallenging environments under varying pressures and temperatures to simulate real-world conditions.
  • Applying yourengineering know-howto assemble machinery solve practical problems and ensure high-quality results.

What You Bring

  • A solid foundation inmechanical engineeringand a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience withmachinery assemblyandhands-on problem solving.
  • The ability to work both independently and within a high performing team.
  • Bonus points for knowledge of:
    • Gas chromatography
    • Instrumentation and materials testing machines
    • Data logging and analysis using Excel
