Job Description
AECOM is seeking an EntryLevel Water/Wastewater Engineer to be based in Murray Utah
This position is expected to begin in May or June 2025.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Perform engineering work on water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems.
- Field data collection and Work on engineering planning and design projects.
- System modeling.
- Data entry and analysis.
- Permitting and alternative analysis.
- Prepare technical memoranda and electronic deliverables.
- Prepare reports with graphics tables appendices.
- Design and Develop plans and specifications.
- Construction Cost estimates for projects.
- Provide engineering services during construction.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civl or Environmental Engineering None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Due to the nature of work US citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic requirements include coursework in physical chemical and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design.
- Experience developing engineering deliverables such as engineering reports design drawings technical specifications permits and other detailed engineering deliverables.
- Demonstrated technical skills and experience working on water wastewater or resilience projects.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite Sharepoint and scheduling software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player and have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and the project team.
- Previous relevant internship.
