Job Description

Your Tasks:

  • Supports designated procurement managers in their administration workload e.g. managing projects in the JIRA system buying price adjustments in internal databases administrating procurement RFQ request for quote data inputs and general communications with the global supplier base
  • Maintaining and updating the procurement database and records (ERP and SAP) ensuring accurate and uptodate information
  • Assisting in resolving any supplierrelated issues or discrepancies such as quality control or invoice discrepancies
  • Prepares and executes the sourcing and tendering process (i.e. sourcing request for information request for quotation evaluation of results) in consideration of the defined category & sourcing strategy
  • Prepares relevant reporting using company data bases as required including  management reporting on supplier performance indicators market analysis results and cost developments
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations in accordance with the recommendations for Line Management
  • Undertakes ad hoc tasks as directed by line management and the Procurement Director

Qualifications :

  • At least 1 year of experience in administration support sourcing buying and procurement (ideally in the ecommerce / omni channel retail / consumer goods sector) would be an advantage
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills combined with interdisciplinary thinking
  • Project management experience and capability to successfully work in crossfunctional teams
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office especially Excel PowerPoint Word
  • Business fluent in English both written and spoken (additional foreign language(s) advantageous)
