Job Description
AWS Global Startups is seeking a driven talented and experienced Business and Employee Engagement Manager to play a critical role in the Startup organization that matches the energy and excitement of our customers. This role is important in leading employee engagement programs mechanisms and initiatives across the organization to realize AWSs vision of being Earths Best Employer. With a unique blend of thought leadership insight analysis mechanismbuilding and process improvement this is a fantastic opportunity for a proven crossfunctional leader to drive employee engagement which benefits AWS customers and contributes materially to AWSs business.
As Business Manager you will partner with leaders and organizations outside of your immediate team and will leverage resources from across AWS to create positive impact on our employees and culture. You will compile data and information that will influence seniorlevel decisions about our daytoday business and our overall business rhythm. Successful candidates should have strong program management analytical organizational and communication skills and a passion for product development and operational excellence. The candidate should be an effective collaborator across technical operational and business stakeholders where productive bridges and connections will enable opportunities for teams to jointly optimize our work get creative and/or be spy and move fast when needed.
Key job responsibilities
Drive AllTeam Meetings and collaborate on leadership and management meetings as needed
Collaborate with the Communications Manager to drive organization communications plans and messages
Develop in partnership with senior leaders priorities and longterm plans for the organization
Support critical organizational initiatives including employee surveys recognition and engagement
Create executive briefings highlighting key performance indicators across the business
Develop strong productive relationships across peer or matrixed organization to help AWS customers innovate faster and help the Startup organization meet our business objectives identify gaps and develop action plans to address those gaps
Manage complex projects and programs while demonstrating exceptional business judgement
Manage organizational rollouts including project plan development tracking status updates and effective budget management
Evangelize a culture of diversity equity and inclusion; leverage existing materials and team/leadership inputs to implement successful engagements across the organization

7 years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
Global Experience proven collaborator and experience leading large diverse teams.
Experience working with Business Development Instructor Enablement and Product teams
Experience working with Sr. Stakeholders and Executive teams
Demonstrated competency in the areas of group collaboration analytical thinking and strategy
Bachelors degree in business finance or related field
5 years of driving process improvements experience
Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
Experience working with CLevel Executives including written presentation and verbal communications
Experience working in a Support and Enablement Organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
