LAbased Backend Engineer at Cashmere an AIPowered Client Acquisition Platform for Wealth Management

Position Summary:
As a Backend Engineer at Cashmere you will be a key contributor in designing developing and scaling the backend infrastructure. Youll work closely with our CTO and engineering team to build highperformance systems process large volumes of data and ensure our AIpowered platform remains fast reliable and intelligent.
The ideal candidate has a strong backend foundation is a Python expert and has experience working with databases cloud platforms and in a fastpaced startup environment.
You will:
Design develop and maintain backend systems with a focus on scalability and performance.
Write clean reusable and welltested code in Python.
Work across the stack contributing to general software engineering efforts.
Collaborate with a highenergy fastpaced engineering team to solve complex humancentric problems.
Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development best practices.
Musthaves:
5 years of backend development experience mid to seniorlevel candidates welcome.
Strong Python skills and backend generalist experience.
Startup experience at a VCbacked company (Series AB preferred) or a wellknown tech company.
Problemsolving mindset and ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
Graduated from a top university (preferred but not required) with a degree in Engineering or STEM field.
Comfortable working inoffice in Los Angeles.
Bonus skills:
Knowledge of distributed systems and largescale data processing.
Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
