Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Analyze and document business and functional requirements;
- Evaluate and assess business models and processes;
- Ensure alignment of deliverables with initial business requirements throughout the project lifecycle;
- Utilize analysis and modeling tools to define system functionality;
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential challenges;
- Collaborate with business analysts business owners customers and project managers to ensure successful project .
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum 10 years of specific expertise in functional analysis (experience in the labour market domain is a plus);
- Minimum 10 years of specific expertise in IT development;
- Extensive experience in structuring methodologies for drafting and reviewing business requirements;
- Extensive experience in ensuring that deliverables align with initial business requirements;
- Extensive experience in release management planning daily followup quality control and project manager support;
- Proficiency in analysis and modeling tools/techniques such as case diagrams state diagrams entityrelationship models and interaction diagrams;
- Experience with BPMN UML or equivalent methodologies;
- Strong knowledge of Wiki and collaborative platforms;
- Familiarity with software development methodologies including RUP and Agile;
- Excellent command of the English language.
