This role helps Fitch Group owned by Hearst use the most modern data management technology to link critical data together. This data will help us build new products drive new revenue and improve our operations. This role is hybrid 2 days a week out of the Fitch NYC or Chicago offices.

This intern will be part of the program a paid fulltime 15week internship program for neurodivergent/autistic talent interested in enhancing their technical skills. From June 2^nd September 12^th 2025 interns will participate in an immersive handson experience at a leading global diversified media information and services company. This cohort will include interns at Hearst Television (WBAL WLWT and WPTZ) Fitch Group and Hearst Corporate. The reasonable estimate for this position is $3035/hour.

Skills

• Interest or experience in using Informatica (or similar) master data management technology or ETL/ELT solutions this does not have to be in a business environment. You will receive personalized mentorship structured learning opportunities and collaborative experiences to grow your technical and professional skills.
  1. Personal projects code and modules published in GitHub for example are acceptable.
• Working with multiple GraphQL or REST APIs and interacting with data through APIs or applications.
  1. Pulling information from one source through APIs and then injecting that information into another application.
• Comfortable reading API reference guides and learning the syntax of individual APIs.
• Writing and reading code understanding what it does along with the workflow and experience modifying existing code in languages such as Python and/or Java.
• Familiarity with one of the large cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) (preference) Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to research and upskill on new technologies.
• Ability to read and understand documentation for existing application/technology (for example whitepapers confluence docs).

The following experiences are preferred but not required. We encourage candidates with enthusiasm for learning new technologies to apply even if they dont meet all the preferences.

• Experience or knowledge of Master Data Management practices
• Experience using or interest in CI/CD pipelines. Examples: GitHub actions ADO (Azure Dev Ops) Jenkins
• Interest in or experience with collaboration and knowledgebased tools like Jira and Confluence
• Interest in or experience writing ETL/ELT jobs in a data management solution such as Informatica (preferred) or other industry solutions
• Interest in using generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in products services workflows and applications.
• Experience with or interest in source control principles preferably GitHub

Qualifications

• A college degree is not required.
• Optional certifications are a plus: Informatica Trainings or Certification Microsoft Azure/AWS Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure/AWS DevOps Solutions.
