Job Description
A progressive academy in Brent is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a thriving science department.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and practical Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 and potentially ALevel.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies incorporating the latest educational technology.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing targeted support and intervention.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
- Organise and lead sciencerelated extracurricular activities and clubs.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in all three sciences (Biology Chemistry Physics).
- Experience teaching science at the secondary level with a proven track record of student success.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Experience with practical science demonstrations and experiments.
