Starting the coming quarter were looking for a senior software engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and excels at catalyzing team and business success in the exciting world of virtual inperson & hybrid events.

Our ambitions are large: we want to become what Revolut is to core banking what Hubspot is to SAP or simply what 2025 is to 2015. At evenito we do things differently. We rethink how events are being organised and managed. Because lets face it no one likes to focus on the daily event management tasks. It means hours of planning and a lot of stress.
Our mission is simple: With our software we want to empower event organisers to create more impactful virtual inperson or hybrid events by giving them the tools to drastically reduce the organisational effort involved in organising an event. This way theres more focus on the creative aspects of delivering a sustainable event experience and creating lasting human connections.

Tasks
What kind of person are we dreaming of
- Were dreaming of someone who is not only technically brilliant but also deeply invested in how the business and our clients tick.
What is your role
- Elevate our product by writing welltested production code fostering a shared commitment to excellence and establishing lasting best practices.
- Participate actively in software architecture discussions aiming towards consensus and ensuring decisions are technically sound and clearly understood by all stakeholders.
- Take ownership for the overall technical health of our systems proactively monitoring and addressing areas of improvement.
- Forge strong partnerships with product and business stakeholders by actively listening to their needs translating them into clear technical direction and proactively communicating technical considerations in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Support clientfacing colleagues with your technical skills whether it is to close a deal or to support a client.
Requirements
What you bring to the proverbial table!
- Proven experience in the field of cloud software (SaaS) and scalable solutions.
- Deep affinity for scalable IT architecture and a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively inspiring confidence and understanding across varied audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills Basic understanding of German
- Selfmotivated and selfmanaged personality.
- You have worked with microservices and have battle stories to share.
- You have worked with multiple programming languages and possess the adaptability and openmindedness to readily embrace new technologies and innovative approaches.
- You have worked with continuous deployment and are passionate about championing these practices.
- Ideally you have worked with distributed teams and possess strong cultural awareness and the ability to build robust working relationships across diverse backgrounds and geographical locations.
