Job Description
The Senior Manager of Risk and Identity Product Solutioning will be a key member of North America VAS Issuing Solutions Management Team which is accountable for financial and operational performance of Issuer Risk & Identity Solutions in North America. This role will be specifically responsible for working with the Head of NA Issuer Risk Solutions to help tell the story of how Visas Issuerfacing Risk and Identity Solutions offerings other offerings and partnerships come together to solve client needs/use cases and drives telling of this story through various channels (critically including direct client conversations). This individual will also work closely with other leaders across the team to provide realtime market insights intake and triage client needs and coordinate roadmaps and share feedback on ongoing gotomarket efforts. This position will be based in the San Francisco Bay area and some travel will be expected.
Specific responsibilities include:
Developing usecase segment and clientspecific perspectives on solutions that solve key client problems/needs utilizing global guidance to ensure a seamless and effective rollout of new solutions.
Coordinating with Visa Generalist and Issuing Solutions Specialized sellers to ensure familiarity with use case solutions and sales to implementation processes.
Participate in presales client discussions to whiteboard risk offerings ensuring client needs are understood and addressed by solutions
Serve as primary intake channel for consolidating client feedback and requests into prioritization efforts (including understanding options and true needs) completing presales activities and communicating to partners the status and outcome
Support sales teams in driving identified issues and questions to resolution
Support in development of business cases to support prioritization efforts
Serve as conduit for gathering client feedback and synthesizing feedback for product requirement purposes to ensure voice of the customer is represented
Partner with GTM Commercialization and Strategy to contribute to regionally relevant Sales narratives across client segments.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least
5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or
2 years of work experience with a PhD
Bachelors and 8 or more years of relevant experience most likely found in risk
and (or) financial services focused management consulting role strategy and
(or) operations roles at a payments company (e.g. a payment facilitator an
independent software vendor acquirer) or risk roles at a bank payfac or tech
partner
Preferred Qualification
MBA or relevant graduate degree from toptier institution or similar academic
or professional experience with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
Experience in and (or) significant exposure to the issuerfacing risk industry
preferred
Ability to independently lead and manage projects with multiple workstreams
with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business
problems
Ability to structure and manage complex crossenterprise projects and
processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
Superior analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated intellectual
and analytical rigor attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze
sophisticated financial modeling
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a
peer with functional and regional leaders within Visa
Commitment to continuous training and improvement of employees
throughout the corporate strategy function
Selfstarter team oriented collaborative diplomatic and flexible with excellent
presentation skills including strong oral and writing capabilities
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is from $159100.00 to $230900.00. Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
