Job Description
The main purpose of the cost control and systems expertise support to senior members of the team. Secondary purpose is to support the cost lead:
- Cost control systems development and sustainment including data management
- Accurate and timely completion of tasks as requested/ required from line manager (Director)
- Provide support to the cost lead as required
- Assist in integration of the cost management system and cost data into the project controls function and general reporting
- Relevant work experience ideally in a consultancy environment
- Defence or Infrastructure experience preferred
- Proficient in the use in cost software CMS EcoSys Aconex
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently
Qualifications :
- Must be an Australian Citizen and able to work in Adelaide.
- 10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years working in a Cost Control systems role.
- Bachelors Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Cost Control and Project Controls.
- Experience working in the infrastructure (marine ship yards civil) and the Defence sector.
- Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects at various stages of delivery.
- Experience operating at various stages in the project lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including coordination and communication.
- Selfmotivated team player with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
