Job Description
Qualifications:
Must have CCNA
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a large Network Operations >500 devices) environment within FSI
hold a Level 3 NOC engineer role or similar 7 Years for Lead Role)
Intermediate to Expert Cisco Systems networking knowledge and experience. Example: Routers and Switches
Protocols
Intermediate to expert knowledge on BGP and EIGRP Route manipulation and troubleshooting
Knowledge of WAN protocol MPLS Switching STP/VTP knowledge; troubleshooting
Handson experience/knowledge on Nexus and IOSXE devices
Voice packet flow
Advanced Internetworking knowledge and experience; Example: TCP/IP Traceroute OSI Layers
Analyzing Packet capture/wire shark output Cisco Wireless and ISE
Troubleshooting incident
Knowledge on policy implementation (Authentication/Authorization)/TACACS/RADIUS
Has experience working with enterprise class Network Management tools
Network Management System
Network Performance System
Experience on Cisco Wireless (Preferable)
Demonstrate an expert understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols
Experience in Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches & Routers (Cat OS IOS) Hardware & Software
Experience in contact center or BPO environment is preferred but not mandatory
Excellent Communication Skills
Responsibilities:
Performs service fulfillment for request on network services
Own and drive incident resolution
Own and drive root cause identification and permanent resolution of network issues
Perform moderate to complex network changes
Provide expertise as network operations engineer
Performs on call support during after business hour and weekend on a rotational basis
Involve in network project rollout
