About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Plumbing Engineer (P.E. with experience in plumbing and fire protection system design for healthcare and K12 projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Revit/Bluebeam and a deep understanding of building codes ensuring the highest standards in system performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design plumbing and fire protection systems for healthcare and educational facilities.
  • Develop detailed Revit models and construction documentation.
  • Perform pipe sizing flow calculations and equipment selection for water gas sanitary and storm drainage systems.
  • Ensure designs comply with local state and national plumbing codes (IPC NFPA ASPE etc..
  • Coordinate with architects mechanical engineers and contractors to integrate plumbing systems seamlessly into building designs.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing systems provide recommendations and ensure proper installation.
  • Oversee project timelines budgets and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (P.E. license required (Texas preferred or ability to obtain).
  • 5 years of plumbing engineering experience in building design.
    Proficiency in Revit and other industrystandard design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of IPC NFPA ASPE and healthcare facility plumbing standards.
  • Experience working on healthcare and K12 projects.
  • Excellent problemsolving project management and communication skills.
