Job Description
Maintains building facilities and equipment by conducting inspections on a regular basis to determine need and extent of service equipment required type of operation and maintenance needed
Ensures adherence to applicable laws by meeting with government and insurance inspectors and performing followup as required.
Takes prompt corrective action as necessary
Maintains a supply of inventory necessary for optimal operating efficiency by initiating purchasing orders for maintenance supplies machinery equipment parts and services as required
Monitor and control departmental budgets ensuring costeffective solutions without compromising quality.
Oversee the daily hotel operations of the engineering department including preventive and corrective maintenance
Qualifications :
- A license Mechanical engineer with the minimum of 5 years hotel industry experience (preferably PME)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively
- Highly organized with capacity to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects
- Proficient in computerized maintenance systems and general computer applications
- Indepth knowledge of building systems maintenance practices and safety standards.
- Proven track record in project management CAPEX planning and continuous improvement
- Certification in engineering or facilities management is a plus.
