Job Description

The Sr. Manager Commercial Data Management will be responsible for managing relationships with our brand teams to align on manage and prioritize data and analytics needs to meet corporate goals. This includes defining and creating requirements documentation prioritizing requests and working closely with the Dev/Ops lead to set expectations given all North America demand in concert with the data warehouse release schedule and roadmap. The role will report to the Director of Commercial Data Architecture & Operations as part of the Customer Experience Insights & Operations (CxI&O) team for North America.

The CxI&O Data Operations team ensures the efficient management integration and governance of commercial data by overseeing cloudbased data infrastructure optimizing ETL pipelines and enforcing compliance standards. They enhance data quality automate workflows support business intelligence and advanced analytics and collaborate crossfunctionally to enable seamless data accessibility interoperability and strategic decisionmaking.

While high preference is given to candidates who reside near our offices in Waltham MA or Raleigh NC we are open to hybrid or remote arrangements depending on the right candidates location and preferences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Commercial teams (e.g. Market Access Sales Insights) to understand data needs build data solutions and provide support.
  • Document business and technical requirements ensuring that data solutions align with stakeholders needs and organizational objectives.
  • Manage relationships with data vendors to improve accuracy timeliness and capture of data assets across all functional groups.
  • Define data quality checks to ensure data accuracy consistency and completeness.
  • Enforce data governance policies and standards to maintain data integrity and compliance.
  • Understand the lifecycle of data from acquisition to deletion ensuring efficient data usage and storage.
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights for strategic decisionmaking.
  • Provide training and support to crossfunctional partners on datarelated processes.
  • Support the creation and education of dashboards and reports that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree
  • 5 years of Data Management and Operations or similar experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices; with tools such as Jira Azure Dev/Ops; cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake
  • Proven record of managing data and analytics needs in a fastpaced environment
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical data sources commercial data needs and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience in data management and analysis tools and languages such as Python R SQL and data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau) a plus
  • Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in teambased environment across key functions and all levels of management within Commercial as well as other key functions including but not limited to: Finance HR Compliance
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities prioritize and navigate the efficient path to results
  • Experience in rare disease hematology immunology or specialtydistributed products preferred

Additional Information :

The base salary pay range for this role is USD annually. Actual pay for this position will take into account factors such as experience and location. In addition to a base salary this position is also eligible for a competitive 401k match short and longterm incentives medical dental vision STD/LTD and life insurance benefits in addition to other health and wellness programs and offerings.
