Strategy Coordinator Energy & Utilities

PA Consulting Group is seeking a Strategy Coordinator to join our Energy & Utilities Sector team in Denver. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fastpaced collaborative environment and enjoys applying critical thinking organizational skills and strategic insights to drive impactful outcomes.

As a Strategy Coordinator youll play a pivotal role in supporting the teams strategic objectives by delivering highquality research facilitating key business operations and coordinating projects that enable our consultants to deliver exceptional value to clients in the energy and utilities sector.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive resourceful and has a customercentric mindset. Strong communication stakeholder management and a commitment to quality are essential attributes.

Roles and Responsibilities 

Strategic Research and Insights

• Conduct and deliver professional insightful research summaries from secondary sources and subscribed databases.
• Monitor energy industry trends and developments compiling daily news summaries and fulfilling ad hoc research requests to inform strategic decisions and consulting engagements.

Resource Management and Vendor Relations

• Oversee the procurement and management of data sources licenses and databases ensuring seamless operations while adhering to internal protocols and approvals.
• Manage vendor relationships including purchasing approvals and ensuring compliance with budget and expenditure guidelines.

Proposal and Business Development Support

• Coordinate the development of proposals RFQs (Request for Qualifications) and RFPs (Request for Proposals).
• Manage vendor registrations and monitor procurement sites for opportunities sharing relevant insights with the team.

Operational Coordination

• Support subcontractor onboarding and procurement processes ensuring compliance with requirements and approvals.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor and subcontractor data for efficient navigation and reporting.

Deliverables Management

• Ensure the production of highquality presentations proposals and reports adhering to PA Consultings document standards.

Knowledge Management and Best Practices

• Develop and maintain knowledgesharing systems and best practices ensuring consistency and accessibility of strategic resources across the team.

Project Coordination and Collaboration

• Take ownership of assigned projects with minimal oversight demonstrating resourcefulness and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Collaborate across teams to foster a strong network of internal and external stakeholders.

Ad Hoc Support

• Provide additional strategic support and research as needed to align with business goals and client needs.

Qualifications :

• Knowledge of research methodologies and tools particularly in the energy and utilities sectors.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (minimum two years in a related role).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Teams Outlook and Access)

In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay Transparency Act PA is required to provide a reasonable salary range for this role.  This salary range is specific to the State of Colorado and is commensurate with experience market data applicant skills internal equity and/or degrees/certifications.  Colorado Salary Range: Low: $ 77000 High: $82000
