Job Description
Summary:
Receives payment for parts and service transactions and plays a key role in maintaining and creating customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties:
- Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner
- Computes customer bills
- Receives cash check and credit card payments from customers and records amount received
- Makes change and issues receipts to customers
- Reconciles cash drawer daily
- Refers customers who have questions about work performed and additional maintenance or repairs etc to the service advisor or appropriate individual
- Closes all open invoices
- Maintains & scans repair orders & parts invoices
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Keeps work area clean
