At Wise our Contact Handling team plays a crucial role in shaping the Customer Support experience. Alongside two other engineering teams we build and maintain the core systems that ensure seamless support for our customers as we scale. Our mission is simple: create a frictionless efficient and intelligent customer support experience.

What do we expect from you
As a Senior Software Engineer you will be a key player in our team responsible for designing and implementing solutions to complex problems. You will:
work with Java to build scalable distributed and concurrent system (we require 6 years of experience Java or other JVM based language and experience with Spring framework)
Navigate and simplify complex systems by introducing wellthoughtout abstractions and solutions.
Share your expertise mentor team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
Strike the right balance between moving fast and ensuring longterm system robustness.
Take full ownership of your projectsfrom ideation to deploymentensuring they drive real impact. Youll make decisions and sometimes honest mistakes. Thats part of the process and thats okay.
Youll be collaborating closely with product managers data scientists data analysts engineers and other product teams in order to deliver impact
