Job Description
- In conjunction with QS and Scheduler issue and maintain a standardized monthly project control report.
- Coordinate change control activities including liaison with GC Cost team Scheduler Contracts team and Client.
- Monitor that end to end change is managed logged and reviewed for cost and schedule impact.
- In conjunction with QS and Scheduler provide cost and schedule review support for reviewing negotiating and formalizing change orders.
- In conjunction with QS and Scheduler review and validate all Contractor and Owner change order requests with respect to cost and schedule impacts and provide feasible recommendations.
- In conjunction with QS and Scheduler provide cost and schedule review support for reviewing negotiating and formalizing change orders.
- In conjunction with Scheduler facilitate planning sessions along with GC to align and review the schedules interdepencies including engineering design deliverables procurement dates construction & commissioning activities.
- Attend weekly meeting with GC to review the schedule project and program milestones lookaheads and key analysis.
- In conjunction with Scheduler implement a biweekly review of all project schedule reports (high level and detailed).
- Monitor that all weekly and monthly progress schedules are uploaded to database based on P6 file naming guideline.
- Monitor that the Contractor is adhering to the project requirements including CPM (Critical Path Method) specification by verifying and reporting discrepancies.
- In conjunction with QS and Scheduler monitor that the monthly cash flow forecasting is aligned with the construction progress planning in Primavera P6.
- In conjunction with Scheduler review all schedule changes with onsite project manager to adhere to the change control process.
- Review cost loaded schedule and schedule of values in conjunction with GC and Cost team to determine and track earned value.
Qualifications :
This is a clientside position which is fulltime based on the construction site.
Reports to both the project director and the client.
At least 10 years of experience in project controls of international hightech projects with data centre experience being preferred.
Some experience delivering projects within a General Contractor would be highly preferred.
Proficient in both local language and English both verbal and written.
Strong knowledge on commercial schedule risk and change management.
Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 software.
Strong team player able to collaborate with other disciplines in the identification of risks and resolution of issues on site.
Proficient in formal reporting.
Proven problemsolving mindset.
