About the Role
Benore Logistic Systems Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician to oversee fleet maintenance operations providing expertlevel diagnostics major repairs and leadership to a team of skilled technicians. In this role you will ensure fleet efficiency compliance with DOT regulations and continuous process improvements. Your technical expertise and leadership will be key in maintaining our commitment to excellence in fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs Conduct major component overhauls complex repairs and troubleshooting on Class 8 trucks trailers and diesel engines.
- Workflow Management & Productivity Oversight Strategically delegate tasks and ensure maintenance goals are met with efficiency.
- Mentor & Develop Technicians Provide training coaching and professional development to foster a highperforming team.
- Collaborate with Parts & Operations Teams Work closely with parts specialists and management to streamline maintenance processes.
- Ensure Compliance & Safety Standards Uphold strict adherence to DOT regulations safety protocols and quality standards.
- Process Improvement & ProblemSolving Analyze performance data identify challenges and implement strategies for operational efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Management Transportation or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of fleet vehicle maintenance experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or maintenance management role.
- Demonstrated experience with equipment coordination and vehicle service writing.
- Technical Expertise:
- Advanced diagnostic abilities and technical knowledge of major component overhauls.
- Strong understanding of vehicle computer systems and fleet maintenance best practices.
- Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead and develop teams ensuring productivity and process optimization.
- Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: Extensive understanding of DOT regulations and industry standards.
