Position: Service Porter
Location: Hayes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Lawrenceville
Position Overview: We are looking for a Service Porter to join our team! This position plays a vital role in the daily operations of our service department and is an excellent entry point for those seeking to advance in the automotive service industry. If you are motivated reliable and eager to learn we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the direct supervision of the Service Manager.
- Move and park vehicles as needed in the service department.
- Help maintain a clean and organized service shop including tasks such as emptying trash cans sweeping floors and removing old tires.
- Install protective temporary mats and seat covers in incoming customer vehicles.
- Assist service advisors with various tasks as needed.
- Retrieve vehicles for customers when they pick up their car.
- Perform other tasks related to the smooth operation of the service department.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience or training required.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
