Job Description
PreContract Stage:
- Review and interpret electrical drawings specifications and project documentation.
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for electrical systems including layouts schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Assist in the preparation of BOQs and tender documentation by providing accurate drawings.
- Collaborate with design engineers and project teams to ensure compliance with project requirements.
PostContract Stage:
- Modify and update electrical drawings as per project changes and site requirements.
- Ensure all drawings are aligned with contract specifications safety standards and regulations.
- Provide support in the preparation of asbuilt drawings and final documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers and contractors for technical clarifications.
Commercial Management:
- Assist in evaluating material requirements based on drawings.
- Work closely with procurement teams to verify vendor drawings and specifications.
- Maintain and update drawing documentation for approvals and audits.
Other Responsibilities:
- Stay uptodate with the latest electrical codes standards and drafting software.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and provide technical support.
- Prepare and submit technical reports and documentation as required.
- Ensure efficient document control for all drawings and revisions.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 25 years of experience in electrical drafting.
- Certification in AutoCAD (preferred).
Technical Skills:
- AutoCAD 2D & 3D) for electrical schematics layouts and circuit diagrams.
- BOQ support & asbuilt drawings preparation.
- Knowledge of electrical codes safety standards and tender documentation.
- Coordination with site engineers vendors and design teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word) for reporting.

- Attention to detail & accuracy in drawings.
- Analytical & problemsolving abilities.
- Strong communication & teamwork.
- Time management to meet deadlines.
