Job Description

Join a Secondary School in Hounslow with a strong sports program as a Boys PE Teacher from September 2025.

About the Role:

  • Join a Secondary School in Hounslow with a strong sports program as a Boys PE Teacher from September 2025. This is an opportunity to inspire and develop young male athletes across Key Stages 35 fostering a love of sports and promoting healthy lifestyles within a supportive sporting environment.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 35 following national curriculum guidelines and incorporating a range of sports and physical activities.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that foster athletic skills teamwork and sportsmanship utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources including fitness training team sports and individual activities.
  • Assess student progress through practical assessments fitness tests and written work providing detailed feedback to support their development.
  • Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum integrating current sports science and training techniques and participate in departmental planning.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities school teams and sporting competitions promoting student engagement and athletic excellence.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong PE subject knowledge including sports science fitness training and coaching.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching PE to ALevel with a focus on both practical skills and theoretical understanding.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young male athletes.
  • Commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and athletic excellence.
