Job Description

Title Business Analyst Location Saint Paul MN (Hybrid Locals Only) Duration up to one year with the possibility of extension Job Type C2CW2 Job Description

Primary Responsibilities and Deliverables

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understands the business drivers and expected business outcomes.
  • Builds trustbased relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders.
  • Defines approach and performs activities to discover and document currentstate processes roles and responsibilities.
  • Develops use cases.
  • Develops test scripts.
  • Collaborates with vendors project manager RC project manager and the project team to align requirements with outofthebox functionality.
  • Determine/define integration with GIS ECRM and Finance processes and systems.
  • Track and facilitate the remediation of defects (dev/test/prod environments)
  • Logs and followsthrough to disposition risks action items issues and decisions.
  • Develops and submits status reports.

  • Status Reports (with hours burndown)

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree 4 year) (or Associates degree plus an additional 5 years experience)
  • 5 years experience in a business analysis role for systems replacement initiatives
  • Experience in discovering and documenting currentstate and collaboratively architecting futurestate processes
  • Ability to work independently
  • LOCAL Candidates Preferred (work will be hybrid)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the BA role for Tyler Technologies license and permitting platform (formerly known as enerGOV).
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in state county or city governments or nonprofit sector
  • CBAP PMIPBA or other business analysis certification
