This role is based in Farnborough Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a fulltime position however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: 26000 bonus
About the role:
This role is crucial in giving our customers a seamless holiday experience making sure that their hotels and services are all booked correctly. Responsibilities will include:
- Maintain our database of tours ensuring that all hotels services and costs are 100 accurate.
- Input and amend costs set up new tour dates and manage hotel allocations in our system.
- Review and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Answer triprelated questions from other departments.
- Support the product team with using technology systems to improve and maximise efficiency.
- Make process improvements and suggest the most relevant tool or system for the task.
- Support the team with adopting new ways of working.
- Introduce innovative ways of working with technology tools and find solutions to problems.
- Process administration and respond to product related enquiries.
- You will be a pivotal point of communication with our Product Managers overseas suppliers Customer Experience and Sales Consultants (based in UK Canada Australia) and our Outsource Team (based in India).
- Shift priorities at short notice to support with an urgent issue.
- Maintain the tours in our booking system such as making changes to hotels loading in supplier costs and rates amending a supplier and setting up brand new departure dates.
- Maintain regular contact with our overseas suppliers to support them with operational questions about rooming lists checking on the status of an invoice advising of a service change or following up on booking numbers.
- Receive new rates from overseas suppliers and enter the data into our system checking rates and data are accurate.
- Assist the product team with adhoc projects.

- Have the confidence andability to be able to suggest the most efficient way of completing a task using technology.

- Excellent skills with using Microsoft Word Excel Outlook.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft programs and IT systems (such as data visualization tools and databases) is desirable.
- Have an interest in travel and sustainability.
- Strong administration skills.
- Curious and interested in new ways of working.
