About the role
Are you an experienced accountant looking for an opportunity to make a real impact Were searching for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Berlin.
In this key role youll take ownership of accounts payable payment transactions and related financial operations while also playing a crucial part in monthend closing and reporting. As Aira continues to scale youll have the unique opportunity to shape our financial processes and help build a solid foundation for future growth.
Collaboration is at the heart of this roleyoull work closely with our team in Germany and our Finance HQ in Stockholm. Youll also manage external relationships with auditors ensuring compliance and best practices across the board.

What you will be doing
Besides an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to deal with constant change we would like you to have:
- Manage our accounts payable process together with the team
- Oversee payment transactions and dunning procedures while maintaining account reconciliation and ledger management.
- Participate in monthly closing
- Collaborate with technical team in Stockholm to improve ways of working
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (HGB/IFRS)
- Support annual financial audits and tax inspections while acting as the direct point of contact for auditors
What You Should Bring
- A successfully completed qualification in accounting tax consultancy or a comparable financial certification
- Curious mindset with willingness to develop our ways of working
- At least 3 years experience in accounting
- Strong command of MS Office particularly Excel
- Fluency in English and German
- Experience from working with MS Dynamics Business Central Navision or Exflow is considered and advantage
