JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA HCM Time Functional Consultant to support a public sector client in migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using RISE with SAP Private Cloud. The consultant will be responsible for configuring optimizing and implementing SAP HCM Time Management solutions ensuring a seamless transition while aligning with public sector regulations and compliance requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the functional design configuration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA HCM Time Management.
Analyze current SAP ECC HCM Time configurations and recommend bestpractice solutions for S/4HANA.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data migration and system integration align with business requirements.
Configure and customize time management functionalities including work schedules absence quotas time evaluation and payroll integration.
Ensure compliance with public sector labor laws union agreements and timerelated regulations.
Support testing efforts including unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide expert guidance on Fioribased selfservice time functionalities and enhancements.
Document business processes configurations and testing procedures to support knowledge transfer and training.
Troubleshoot and resolve time management issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
Provide postgolive support and continuous improvements for time management processes.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
5 years of experience in SAP HCM Time Management including configuration and implementation preferably in a public sector environment.
Strong understanding of SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations particularly within HCM.
Experience with RISE with SAP Private Cloud and its impact on HCM processes.
Handson experience in Time Schema PCRs Work Schedules Absence/Attendance Quotas and Time Evaluation.
Knowledge of Payroll integration with Time Management.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for time management and employee selfservice.
Experience working in public sector environments with knowledge of government compliance and policies.
Knowledge of SuccessFactors Time Tracking as a potential integration.
Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
Understanding of Business Technology Platform (BTP) for extensions and integrations a plus.
Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a multifunctional team environment.
Transit Industry experience strongly preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
SAP S/4HANA certification in HCM or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll preferred.
5+ years of experience in SAP HCM Time Management, including configuration and implementation, preferably in a public sector environment. Strong understanding of SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations, particularly within HCM. Experience with RISE with SAP Private Cloud and its impact on HCM processes. Hands-on experience in Time Schema, PCRs, Work Schedules, Absence/Attendance Quotas, and Time Evaluation. Knowledge of Payroll integration with Time Management. Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for time management and employee self-service. Experience working in public sector environments with knowledge of government compliance and policies.
