Job Description

Key responsibilities for the Regional Director of Campus Operations include but are not limited to the following:

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Collaborate with the Operations Leadership Team to define and execute organizational goals objectives and strategic plans.

  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer to create and implement best practices that ensure operational excellence campuswide. 

 

Campus Vendor Management

Transportation

  • Ensure 80 of students are routed to a bus and that buses are on time 95 of the time.

  • Develop systems and processes for efficient routing and vendor management.

Child Nutrition

  • Oversee the Food Service Management Company to ensure highquality meal service and compliance with contractual agreements.

  • Monitor budget performance and drive increased meal participation by creating appealing compliant menus.

  • Conduct regular audits and meetings to ensure operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Custodial Services

  • Manage custodial services agreements and budgets to maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

  • Meet with vendors biweekly to review expectations track progress and address any issues.

 

Student Recruitment & Enrollment

  • Develop and execute the strategic plan for student recruitment and enrollment.

  • Directly manage the Student Recruitment and Enrollment Manager to:

    • Lead the annual lottery process for new students.

    • Oversee student registration and reenrollment processes.

    • Manage community outreach to meet enrollment targets.

    • Ensure compliance with all withdrawal and registration requirements.

 

Compliance & Data Reporting

  • Oversee Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) and PowerSchool by managing the Senior Associate of EMIS and PowerSchool to:

    • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with Ohio Department of Education reporting requirements.

    • Manage student information systems data extraction and reporting.

    • Ensure adherence to all student and charter reporting requirements.

    • Keep all stakeholders updated on compliance processes and procedures.

 

Operational Support & Guidance

  • Provide guidance and training to Directors of School Operations and Operations Coordinators on:

    • Student reenrollment processes

    • Child nutrition compliance

    • Student transportation

    • Data reporting

  • Develop systems and workflows to improve operational efficiency and evaluate team performance.

 

Financial Oversight & Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to ensure accurate reporting on program grants.

  • Secure contracts and manage relationships with consultants and vendors.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced certification preferred

  • 5 years of business and/or operations experience including 2 years in senior management within a highgrowth entrepreneurial charter school or similar environment

  • Passion for supporting highperforming schools strongly preferred

  • Proven success in financial oversight and budget management to drive strategic growth

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask prioritize and drive change effectively

  • Commitment to equity and improving outcomes for all students

  • Trusted leadership experience with a record of delivering results

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of an organization

  • Strategic analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Belief in the potential of school leaders staff and teachers to achieve excellence for all students

  • Resilient and solutionoriented with a growth mindset and problemsolving skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
