Reporting to the Proposal Manager and working in collaboration with the Business Development Director the Proposal Coordinator plays a critical role in securing new projects for Chandos. This position involves managing the entire proposal lifecycle from the initial gonogo decision through to submission and followup.
Efficient and timely of these responsibilities ensures the delivery of highquality proposals that effectively highlight the capabilities of Chandos project teams.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Check public bid boards daily.
- Track the full lifecycle of opportunities in CRM database.
- Lead weekly gonogo meeting.
- Review request for proposal/prequalification documentation.
- Complete responsibility matrix prior to pursuit strategy meeting.
- Build proposal skeleton according to brand requirements.
- Pull assemble and use boilerplate (where appropriate). Update to reflect proposed project specifics.
- Utilize CRM database profiles and resumes. Update to reflect proposed project specifics.
- Assist in the development and review of project specific content and build into proposal to increase its overall effectiveness.
- Complete interviews with subject matter experts to prepare first draft content.
- Circulate document drafts at agreed upon dates to the review team.
- Ensure proposal is compliant and submitted on time.
- Deliver proposal boilerplate and updated content to junior level proposal coordinator for review and storage.
- Followup in a timely manner on submitted proposals and ask for debriefs as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in liberal arts business journalism engineering or related field.
- 12 years proposal experience
- Construction proposal experience preferred
- Highly effective task management prioritization and time management skills.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of comprehending and developing abstract concepts.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work well with others and takes direction and criticism in a positive manner.
- Energetic selfmotivated and results oriented.
- Sense of urgency and ability to work within a deadline driven role.
- Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

- Experience in Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office. (preferred)
